Supply & Demand Planning
Forecasting demand and keeping a national warehouse network stocked with the right material at the right time — balancing service levels against carrying cost.

Supply Chain Manager · Operations · Maker
Supply Chain Manager at a residential solar company on California's Central Coast. I manage RMA programs and ensure field service teams have the materials they need to keep installs and service work running smoothly. Outside of work I build things — Raspberry Pi projects, 3D-printed enclosures, laser cut parts, and the occasional batch of hard cider.
What I Do
Four areas, one throughline — understand how a system works, then make it run better for the people who depend on it.
Forecasting demand and keeping a national warehouse network stocked with the right material at the right time — balancing service levels against carrying cost.
Owning the returns program end to end and making sure service technicians have everything they need to fix customers' solar systems efficiently — ideally on the first visit.
Raspberry Pi builds, MicroPython firmware, 3D-printed enclosures in Fusion 360, and laser-cut parts — turning ideas into working prototypes on the bench.
Building AI-assisted automations that cut cost and give time back to teammates in the field — and using the same tools to work more efficiently every day.
Skills
Operations by day, maker projects by night. The toolset overlaps more than you'd think.
AI & Automation
Not a buzzword section — this is where AI actually shows up in my work week and on my workbench.
Built AI-assisted tools to automate repetitive supply chain processes — RMA status tracking, parts request routing, and inventory reconciliation. What used to take hours of manual work now runs in minutes.
Tools: Claude, Python, Google Sheets, Zapier
AI handles the cognitive overhead of routine professional tasks — drafting communications, summarizing long threads, structuring SOPs, and researching vendor options. Less busywork, more time on decisions that actually matter.
Tools: Claude, ChatGPT, Notion AI
AI is my co-pilot for hardware and software projects. From generating MicroPython firmware to debugging Raspberry Pi camera pipelines — it compresses the gap between idea and working prototype dramatically.
